day fifty-one

asparagus in another kitchen.

making a meal for the family & a family friend while enjoying an evening in her home was a treat. this dish was inspired by the moment, and so good. asparagus with brown butter, wine, and fresh lemon juice, lemon zest & parsley. who knew it would be so good. the brown butter sauce almost caramelized the onions, but not burning them. i love moments of cooking. such simple, good pleasures.
