space for me.

in making space in my day for tea, i made space for me. making green tea, carving out the time and making breathing room in my day. i completed a sermon i've been working on for weeks. the writing flowed and i sipped the tea while editing. writing this sermon has brought my imagination into a sacred story anew. sipping tea, i embody this story as i invite my own sacred story to the table. i invite myself to tea, and i create space enough for me.
That is absolutely lovely. I think I will invite myself to tea more often. Thank you for your words and pictures!
