so thankful for the sights and sounds of creativity. from laughter to sidewalk chalk on a friend's porch, i witnessed good creative play and hands during a short afternoon visit. my son witnessed much more as he engaged with his friend, playing and creating quite a fun mess for the cleaning. i'm certain these creative acts are formative. walking to this porch he often wants to leave his mark in chalk, leaving his friend a "spider" or "web" that's become his artsy signature. i love such colorful spaces!
