day two hundred one

beholding pure goodness.
7.20.2010

enjoying flowers is certainly a theme. staying with a friend's young one gave me a chance to enjoy a moment or two of play and delight. she's a child that moves and speaks with her movements and speedy conversation. i can't always understand her world, but i love to behold it. these sunflowers were at my friend's door as a greeting. i loved seeing them in their quiet space, beholding their beauty. the similarity of their presence and the dressed up feet of this sweet girl were present to me: beautiful, bright, sunny. each has something to say, but you have to sit close, open your eyes wide and listen to their presence in stature, dance, and wonder.
