for my birthday i was taken to lunch at a local greek restaurant we enjoy. we enjoyed our meal and i indulged on one dessert only to find that we were gifted with two more in addition. while the desserts were good, the sentiment was far better. i love these small acts of generosity that are certainly unexpected. what a treat to be with my boys on a quiet birthday, to receive such tasty gifts, and to have so much more to look forward to. i love the creative expressions of generosity, especially those that speak to my belly.
