our own cherry blossom festival.

or i should say my own festival. today was spent well with a good friend and her two. in the spaces between shared moments, cooked meals, and an evening shared with others at church, i made time to just be: to be with my friends, to be with children whose language i partly speak, to be among the bees in my yard, to be with thoughts and plans. today creativity was shared, just as the cherry blossoms are shared between the sun, the bees, my family, and me.
