4.9.2010no milk or cream & a quiche in the making: what to do? buttermilk & almond milk became the solution. i thought it would end up rather odd, but the sweetness of the almond milk and the tart buttermilk were a-ok. flavorful, nutritious, and good. a creative act, indeed. though, i'll not change my standard recipe, this one worked in a pinch.
