a day for a picnic.

my son & i picked a table for our picnic at the botanical gardens. we love this peaceful space, often shared with friends. we sat and ate. i broke the pace with using only what we have on hand & splurged for locally made pimento cheese, guava juice, and sliced turkey. oh, how could i forget: a brownie, too, to add to the apple & other fixin's from home. we sat, ate, sunned, and talked together. it's a good time to share time & presence at table together in any space, but especially delightful for us outdoors.
