oh, the goodness of fresh kale from the farm, harvested by the hands of friends! in a bowl made by my friend tasha, a winning from her annual chili cook-off. there's so much that speaks to my soul through the work of our hands. i can only articulate in glimpses, for it is overwhelming at times to name how much my soul is enriched. i love to surround myself with art made by friends & folks i admire. i love stepping into our garden and remembering as i call to mind the stories of the plants and trees that surround me. oh, a good life. a simple salad to remind us so.
