designing something with fiber and thread is a task that i love. i love the feel of various textures of fabric. in the studio with some fellow clergy & kindred spirits, i was gifted with the task of quilting as remembrance. seeing the colors and fabrics sent from bali & picked up along my journeys combined with a AIDS remembrance quilt, i was struck with the sacred. in a mixture of awe, saddness, and hope, the sacred was present.
