my sweet one and i are spending good time together and here's a little glimpse of that time. he waited for 15 minutes for a turn to play the giant chess pieces at the science museum. this isn't his first time with them. it's really fun to see him use patience to hear explanation of how to move the pieces. it's very sweet. a gentleman and his wife were moved as we started playing. moved to the point of jumping in and taking over my pieces. i was happy to share, giving my boy full attention. it warmed the man, who took a picture to send to a granddaughter states away. a warm, creative act touching others. i'm thankful for the presence to my boy to share this moment with him and another. it's his day, after all.
