finding color on a gray day.9.27.2010
whether wearing shoes the color of sunshine, pulling out a set of watercolors, or finding a rainbow leaf, we can find color on a gray day. this very leaf stood out to me as i was moving along on my morning walk. i reach down, picked it up, and carried it with me the rest of the journey. somehow little leaves, branches, and assorted bits from nature end up in our window. my son and i each do this, without thinking. so, on this gray day, i choose to find color, make color, and share color with you.
