day two hundred twenty-seven

the gate that's always open.
8.15.2010

((metaphorically speaking.)) today's moment was easy to determine, but difficult to stick with. my boy spent time running inside this yard with the diva and there's a rather cool shot of them in action. they have known each other through their mother's friendship spanning since 7th grade. the gate into this friendship is always open. it's a space that's sacred and shared. this is a gate that represents love, knowledge, and a bit of luck. there are shared stories to come for each of us as we visit together and as our children play, chasing each other behind the gate.
