a moment with peace: banana ice cream.8.3.2010
savoring the tastes of familiarity, comfort, and joy all rolled into one: banana ice cream. add a few mini vanilla wafers and you have a party in your mug! this moment was filled with deep breathing, appreciation, and peace. this moment was filled with good tastes and sweet wishes and blessings and love. as one child is born this day to a good high school friend another child is undergoing procedures and surgery. life is full, so full. some days the creativity comes in lightness, others in celebration, and yet others in moments that seem so heavy you could get stuck in all they entail. today held so many moments i called my attention to the present at various points. all leading to wishes for peace and wholeness over a mug of banana ice cream with a few mini vanilla wafers on top of it all.
