making cobbler is always an instant connection to home. it's the sight, smell, and taste of home, all rolled into a dessert. there are many reflections of home that exist for me: the home that is present from childhood, my grandmother's kitchen, my grandfather's garden, and my current home. those spaces intersect in these creative acts, each centering on home.
