there are some projects that are a pure joy. this labor of love is the design of my grandmother's quilt for me, a lap quilt given to me in high school. i'm creating two quilts as gifts, both in love. as i prepare these quilts, i want the design and spirit of my grandmother's wool quilt to be present in theirs. i measured her squares, made a diagram & added measurements. i'll share this on the revartmom blog once i've completed it. it's just so wonderful to make these. i plan for this quilt to become a gift quilt that will go to others in love. oh, so special.
