there are moments when time is seamless, when one moment carries you into the next with no lapse. other moments where there's a lapse in time yet you are still known to one another. the six years between shared meals doesn't exist and you're present to the moment, but also to the person you were so many years ago. this meal was shared with someone who was once very special to me & my husband, but because of my own stubbornness we had six years between shared meals, shared stories. this moment of creation is one that abounds with forgiveness, hope, good food, wine, and story. there's a lot to this meal, and it's really sums up gospel teaching. it was good.
