pink toes mine (bottom) and my friend elizabeth of a still life (top). we have grown into the kind of friends that can sit together in comfort as we're pampered in complete comfort with one another. we've grown into sharing a sisterhood and presence to mothering, ministry, and the creativity of daily living. sometimes creativity comes in sharing space together, weaving in conversation and rest. sometimes it comes in choosing just the right color for your toes. after all, we who wear flip-flops or go barefoot as the warm weather comes will enjoy those colors well. we will take delight in the pink on our toes, each shade her own.
