story irises.
4.25.2010oh, how thrilling to wake up, walk into the yard (or peer from the window) and see a bloom that hasn't arrived until now. these irises, which i believe were given to me by my friend phyllis, finally bloomed. they resemble the color of those she gave and we'd planted when we lived in community before moving to our home 4 years ago. oh, the joys of blooms shared. appreciating these creatively. yes, each day will bring more as there are 5 blooms on each stem! a joy. story irises indeed.
