2.1.2010oh, yes, i've been waiting all weekend for this pairing. while we were down quite low on coffee during the snow days, i let my one-and-only-true-love go coffee while i enjoyed tea. with his outing this morning he brought back coffee & butter. ah. thus, the current scones i've been waiting a couple of days to make. they turned out perfectly, with the right amount of sweetness from the currents. so, so good. while the creativity came into the anticipation, making, and baking, it was summed up in the simple pleasures of enjoying the delights. so, so good.
