creating: my mother's hands.

my mother loves the clothespin project i've been using with groups. she asked that we spend time together creating one of her own. here is my mother, using her hands to create. she taught me through her creativity (painting, drawing, sewing --all our clothes for many years--, loving, typing) how to be creative. it came through her hands so naturally that i never questioned that my hands were made to create. my grandmother, my mother's mother, taught me through quilting, cooking, gardening, loving.... so much love in these hands, my mother's hands.
